The day you were born, December 11, 1979, was a Tuesday and on that very same day Rider Strong (a.k.a. Shawn from Boy Meets World)was born.

Also on the day you were born the Rhodesian Parliament handed power back to Britain until democratic elections could take place. 

The country was then renamed Zimbabwe after the elections.
