Warmed my home AND my heart

A few weeks ago, Kelly, Emma & Bridget stopped by with a housewarming gift: one of Great-Grandma Faye's aprons, and a still-warm loaf of her famous Banana Nut Bread (recipe included!)

Although my kitchen skills aren't quite up to par with Grandma's yet, this might be just the boost I need to go from frozen to fabulous.

Thank you, Bergin gals, for such a thoughtful, special gift.
I love it.

Alyssa,
Just a little bit about Grandma Faye. When we were small she would always be up early cooking breakfast. We would spend the night and get up to the wonderful smell of bacon she would always have fresh squeezed orange juice and always had an apron on. But what I remember the most was how she whistled so beautifully.
You look good in that apron. But can you whistle. Ha!!
That was a really neat gift.
Talk soon.
Love
Mom
